A team uniting engineering software development, industrial design and automation, and power-electronics research.

Electrical engineer and Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering (UFMG). Creator and lead developer of the Olivas PSS platform. Works on industrial electrical studies — short-circuit, coordination and arc-flash — and applied research in electromagnetic transients (ATP/EMTP), power electronics, digital twins and optimization.

Industrial automation project engineer with experience in Greenfield and Brownfield power and control projects in heavy industry (oil & gas, steel, cement). Integrates process automation and electrical automation, from control architecture to commissioning, with strong project management.

Full Professor at UFMG's Department of Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Worked on power-electronics converter development at ABB (Switzerland) and completed a postdoc on microgrids at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Researches static converters, digital control, power quality and microgrids.
